New Fall Colors This Season!

So when people think fall colors, they tend to think of: orange, brown, reds and golds. I know that's what I think of-the colors of changing tree leaves. Well this fall the stores, decorators, and Instagram  homes are filled with a new, different set of fall colors! Creams, whites, mints, sage greens are being displayed everywhere- thus creating a new refreshing look and a take off off the modern farmhouse home decor trends.

My the color scheme in my home is already set in those colors- so I couldn't wait to try out this new fall color pallet! And you know what? I LOVE IT!!
So here's a look of my new fall coffee table decor.
(I can't wait to decorate the rest of my home in theses colors!)

How To Get the Look:
I used faux lamb's ear and natural looking mint green foliage, and intermingled it with a large sage green pumpkin, cream plastic pumpkin, and small off white and mint porcelain pumpkins. The small pumpkins I found at the dollar spot at Target!! It was a great find!

Then a incorporated sprigs of faux white wild flowers for a little more interest and depth.

I'm mixed this new fall decor with my everyday ZGallerie alligator coffee table tray and silver Home Hoods candle sticks.

I'm still decorating other spaces in my home- here's another photo.

Fall Fun!

It's officially fall fall here in Dallas! But, that doesn't mean much- we still hit 90 degree weather most days! So I had to share this darling video of what life is like in the South!

But that doesn't stop me from decorating for fall!😉 Photos coming soon!

Thanksgiving in the Dining Room

Where did October go? Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! Well, I'm already for family and friends to take part in a lovely feast remembering our country's history.

This year I went a little more simple than in years past. In the interest in time, I made a one stop trip too target and picked up the table runner, cloth napkins, cream colored pumpkins, and little pumpkins on the plates. I get a lot of questions about about my leaf garland. I actually got that at the Target dollar spot last year. It was $3.00- I couldn't pass it up!

To decorate my table, I started by putting the table runner down first. Then I added my medium sized pumpkins on cake stands, and added the gold candlesticks. That was my base. From there I added pumpkins, and the floral beads.

I used a lot of what I already had. The burlap and wood bucket on the buffet table, I've had in my closet for years - so I thought I'd bring them out to give a little cozy farmhouse feel. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's tricky to use old and new decor together. It's nice to save on money, but always fun to have new!

Just know that decorating doesn't have to break the bank, and stress you out. Look for a few key pieces and a great matching color scheme!

Easy, Classy Fall Decor Tips

This fall has been super crazy! With my five children each in all different stages of life, (one in high school, one in middle school, elementary school, preschool, and a nine month baby at home), this fall has been the busiest ever!

So this year fall decorating needed to be fast and simple! So that's what I did!
I already had the three metallic vases, but knew I needed a couple more. (Remember, when displaying lots of accessories, look best when grouped in odd numbers.) I then found two matching metallic candlesticks at At Home store.

Next, I found these wonderful, white pumpkins from Target. (I loved that they were white because it brightened up the room- instead of normal dark fall decor.) The greenery, gold pumpkin and fall garland pieces I've had from prior years.  I put them all together and-voila!

Easy fall home decor with only a few pieces! So simple!

Thanksgiving Is Almost Here!

My dining room table all set up for Thanksgiving dinner! I can't wait to be with my parents, sisters and brother and their families! ❤️ I also love these gold and jewel tones I incorporated this year! Why not add sparkle to a Thanksgiving table? I found the linens at Pier One this year, and I found the gold glitter pumpkins at Pier One last year!

Pumpkins and Leaves are All You Need!

I'm so excited that I have family coming in town for Thanksgiving! It makes decorating for the holiday even more special!

I went a simplistic route this year- using pieces, ike the candle sticks, cake plates and some pumpkins, that I already had, in order to keep costs super low. Then I found this super fun leaf garland I got from the dollar spot at Target! Score! The throw pillows also came from Target! Now I just need it to be a chilly day to turn on the fireplace and make it even more cozy!

The Entryway Table!

Fall entryway decor! Ready to welcome guests on Thanksgiving day!

In most homes the entryway is the first piece of furniture and decor a guest sees when they enter a home. It sets the precedence for what the rest of the home looks and feels like- and can tell a lot abut the people living there.

Always make it an expression of you and your family members.

A Fall Center Piece

The fall decor is up! It's fun to add a little sparkle to the dining room table!

A Thanksgiving table isn't complete with out a statement centerpiece! This is one is was easy to do! I took glass candles sticks and apothecary jars that I bought last year, and mixed in the same fall beads that I used in last years fall decor. Then added some glitter and metallic pumpkins for a touch of shine and pizazz!

Warm Fall Touches

Fall is in the air here in Texas! We're are finally wearing pants and coats! It seems as soon as I put up my fall decor, it's time to take it down and put up Christmas! In fact, most stores don't even carry any Thanksgiving decor after Halloween.

So I wanted to share several different fall decor looks I've had over the last two years! Below is my entry table.
I incorporated some everyday decor with harvest decor  I went to Pinterest for a free printable to put in my picture frame.
